Jesse Rankin presented two potential small-initiative projects for downtown: low-cost improvements to the greenspace next to Village Hall and to the corner of Hwy. 117 and County Road BE. Members discussed feasibility and agreed these were suitable small-start projects that would require minimal funding.
By consensus the RDA agreed to move both items to the next meeting for further planning. Lisa Hughes and Caitlin Richter agreed to meet and develop a concrete plan to present at the Feb. 11, 2025 meeting. Rankin also outlined an outreach approach using a business engagement spreadsheet to begin contacting downtown business and property owners.
