Public comments: sheriff audit requested; school surplus and local-road easement concerns raised

During the public-comment period several residents raised distinct concerns. Wyatt Bushong of Maurertown asked the Board to audit the Sheriff's Office, expressing frustration with perceived inaction. An employee at Sandy Hook Elementary requested the Board return the full amount of a school surplus to support renovations and planning for a new elementary school to address overcrowding.
Bonnie Caplinger (Broadway) raised issues surrounding Mill Creek Road and an abandoned easement and urged that erosion and sediment policy items be treated as civil matters. Angela Craig addressed conditions on Knupp Road and read applicable rules and regulations the Board should consider. The Board received the comments; no motions were made in response during the meeting.
