City manager: revenues on track as Chattahoochee Hills begins FY2026 budget process

City manager Robbie gave a financial update at the Feb. 4 council meeting, saying the city is roughly 53% into the fiscal year and collections are close to projections.
"We are, about 53% to the fiscal year," Robbie told the council, and he said local-option sales tax receipts that arrived late were higher than usual, a positive sign for revenues. He also told residents that the finance office is working on a software issue affecting a subset of business license renewals and urged license holders to stand by while staff resolves the problem.
Robbie outlined the draft budget calendar for fiscal 2026, reminding council that the new fiscal year begins July 1 and that department meetings and two-on-two council discussions on revenues and expenditures will take place before the budget is adopted in June. He encouraged residents to engage with staff and review department reports, which are posted on the city website documents page.
