Resident raises concern about frequent solicitors; police advise calling PD

Joe Ramer, a Lake Hallie resident at 11582 46th Ave N, told the Village Board on Aug. 18 that he has "had about 21 different solicitors show up at his house wanting to check his roof." He asked about the local ordinance governing solicitors.
Chief Edward A. Orgon, Jr., the village police chief, advised Ramer to call the police when solicitors are present. The board president (Mr. Spilde) reiterated the instruction to contact the police if the solicitors return.
