Members of the housing and zoning working group reported that draft zoning changes and supporting materials have been compiled and submitted to the state for review and that the state offered positive recommendations at the draft level.
"All of the materials been compiled and sent to this state, they already reviewed the draft and they have positive recommendations at the draft levels," Becky said. The group is working with a consultant on the zoning text changes and will seek city council introduction when timing permits; if not completed before the election, the group expects to proceed afterward.
The update was informational; no board action was taken and staff were asked to continue coordination with the city manager and council as the package moves forward.
