The board accepted a 2x4 ad proof with a placeholder line to be replaced with confirmed performers; Lynette Foulger moved to accept the ad proof and the motion passed 5-0. Rose will order 250 flags for the northside lawn (estimated cost about $60) and will circulate a volunteer job list to coordinate placements and pick-up.
Rose also proposed a time capsule for the 250th anchored at the courthouse and will coordinate with the CEO to bring the item to the county commission. The board discussed historical music performers and Rose said she was researching an accordion player and two drummers for the Preservation Month programming.
