"We're actually saying the 2930 school years... things would start that 2829 school year and even prior with teams of people and to discuss what needs to be done," the staff member said when describing a multi‑year planning and implementation timeline. Board members and staff noted specific facility questions, including possible renovations at the intermediate school to convert it to a K–5 building and needed changes at DeMott Elementary such as playground relocation and reconfigured bus drop‑off for safety.
Staff said they have talked with Bart and Co. architects about potential renovation plans and will continue stakeholder engagement. No formal decision was made; the discussion was presented as early planning only.
