Board receives update to 2024 Dashboard Local Indicator One on teacher assignment data

Dr. Lisa Paisley, Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services, updated the Board on the 2024 Dashboard Local Indicator One, following an earlier June presentation.
Paisley explained that at the time of the June presentation the most recent State-provided teacher assignment data available to the District was for 2021–22; the State released 2022–23 teacher assignment data in July, and Paisley provided an updated summary based on that data. Board members asked for clarification of how the dashboard defines “ineffective” and requested the clarification be provided at a subsequent meeting.
The update also included dashboard measures on access to standards-aligned instructional materials and facility repair counts, each of which the minutes record as zero instances for the metrics presented.
