The Page County Board approved two board and commission appointments during its June 15 meeting.
The Town of Stanley nominated Dana Cook to fill the town’s seat on the Economic Development Authority; if appointed her term will run through Jan. 31, 2030. Supervisor Ryan Cubbage moved to appoint Cook; Supervisor Jeremy Baldwin seconded and the motion carried 6‑0.
Chairman Thomas nominated Randy Howan as the At‑Large member of the Tourism Council to replace an incumbent who reached the term limit; if appointed Howan’s two‑year term will run July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2028. Supervisor Susan Kile moved to appoint Howan; Supervisor Cubbage seconded and the motion carried 6‑0.
Both appointments were recorded by unanimous vote.
