At its June 15 meeting, the Page County Board of Supervisors approved a package of FY2026 supplemental appropriations and transfers intended to close fiscal gaps and cover unbudgeted items.
County Administrator Amity Moler told the Board the package included $80,000 from the General Fund Balance requested for Fire‑EMS employees’ holiday pay tied to changes in scheduling and pay structure; stormwater permit revenue exceeded estimates by $14,000 which the county proposed to use for Planning & Community Development contractual services; and the Fire‑EMS Department received a $25,982 state grant for a washer and two dryers to clean turnout gear (no local match required). The Sheriff’s Office will receive $1,283 from the LOLE federal grant for mobile data terminals and Tourism requested $15,000 in restricted transient occupancy tax revenue for bathroom renovations at the Page Valley Fairgrounds.
Supervisor Cubbage moved and Supervisor Vaughan seconded the appropriation of the listed revenues ($14,000 local, $15,000 restricted TOT, $25,982 state, $1,283 federal and $80,000 from General Fund Balance) and expenditures ($121,265 General Fund and $15,000 Tourism Fund); the motion passed 6‑0.
The Board recorded the supplemental appropriations and approved a $82,679 transfer from the School CIP Fund later in the meeting as part of the school funding package.
