County approves fiscal year-end transfers, CDBG CV drawdown and GGEDA amendment

Rogers County commissioners approved a series of financial housekeeping items at the June 8 meeting, including the May cash fund estimate of needs and multiple transfers to reallocate funds ahead of fiscal year close.
Notable transfers included $1,673.66 from Planning and Zoning M&O into Planning and Zoning capital outlay to purchase or upgrade a computer, $2,300 from General Government salaries to Public Information Officer salaries to cover end-of-year payroll, and several reallocations in the Election Board accounts totaling $6,500 with $1,500 to capital outlay and $5,000 to maintenance and operations. The board also approved an $8,200 transfer in Treasurer accounts to cover salaries/time-sensitive postage needs.
Separately, the board authorized Chairman Ron Burrows to submit a drawdown request of $19,147.90 to cover administrative costs associated with CDBG CV project 18465 (December 2025–May 2026) and approved an amendment to the GGEDA administrative services agreement tied to the same project. All motions passed by unanimous roll-call votes.
