Clinton County adopts 2026 taxable values totaling $4.25 billion

Clinton County’s Equalization Director Eric Harger presented Form L-4046 and the board approved the county’s taxable valuations for 2026. Director Harger told commissioners that the total taxable value required to be reported to the Department of Treasury is $4,252,719,966, including valuations receiving Disabled Veterans Exemptions (DVE).
The minutes also note that the Veterans-only form L-4046 is informational and that the report must be filed with the State Tax Commission on or before the fourth Monday in June; the board concurred with the committee recommendation and approved the Form L-4046.
