The Roxbury Board of Selectmen convened April 22, 2025, with Timothy Derouche calling the meeting to order and leading the Pledge of Allegiance. The board—Timothy Derouche, Matthew Patneaude and Ray Hodsdon—approved the April 8 minutes and passed a series of routine administrative motions.
The board moved a number of policy items and operational approvals: the Municipal Purchasing Policy was scheduled for a public hearing on May 13 at 5:30 p.m.; the Selectmen approved disbursement-warrant policies allowing any one municipal officer to review and sign certain warrants; and deputies Brittany Gordon and Doreen Stinson were appointed to serve as deputy tax collector/treasurer when needed. The board also approved multiple contractor authorizations for summer road and tree work, accepted the county assessors' return of $218,235.00, and approved the warrant for $107,594.56. Why it matters: these routine votes set operational authority, spending permissions and the schedule for public review of the purchasing policy. The purchasing-policy hearing and several contract authorizations give residents a near-term opportunity to review spending and procurement decisions at the May 13 meeting.
