Jamie Waters said she had met privately with Dr. Colvard in September and had been told the meeting would be confidential; Waters told trustees that her husband referenced that meeting in their divorce proceedings and that she later found a letter Dr. Colvard wrote for her husband, which Waters said alarmed her.
Board members did not vote on any formal action in response. The item was recorded as public comment; the board recessed for 10 minutes following the remarks. Superintendent Colvard remained at the meeting and later reported on district matters including legislative impacts and planning for community listening sessions.
