State audit clean; federal programs audit underway; SRS funds still pending

Superintendent Ingrid Colvard told the board on Feb. 12 that the district's state audit concluded with excellent results. She added that the Federal Programs audit is still underway and that one of the three audit areas has already passed without findings.
Colvard also reported that SRS funds have not yet arrived and that OSPI is proposing minimum and maximum fund-balance levels the district is monitoring as staff model revenue scenarios. Finance staff member Kathy McKee has begun adjusting projected revenues to account for enrollment declines and funding uncertainty.
