Commissioners approve BF&S scopes for EDF solar administrative services and RWE ILP review

Commissioners reviewed three items from engineering firm Butler, Fairman & Seufert (BF&S). They acknowledged one proposal for development review process improvement still needs commissioner review and County Council funding approval.
By motion, the board approved a BF&S scope dated Feb. 24, 2026 for EDF Solar Farm administrative services to develop GIS tools, split tax billing workflows and provide administrative support and training related to the EDF project. The board also approved BF&S for RWE Prairie Creek Phase 2 wind-farm Improvement Location Permit (ILP) review services. Both motions passed 3-0.
