Application 2026‑41 from the Village of Dundee’s Board of Trustees proposes amended short‑term rental regulations limiting short‑term rental facilities to fifteen separate parcels within the Village. Ed Brockman told the planning board that the prior wording was not working properly and that the Village is consistently updating its STR regulations to address issues in practice.
Larry Strickland moved the board find the referral to have a positive countywide impact; Edward Gilman seconded and the motion carried. The county finding highlights potential broader implications for local housing markets and visitor accommodations; any ordinance changes would be adopted at the Village level.
