City public-works staff presented the draft 2027'2032 Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP) as an annual, six-year list of planned street, chip-seal, pedestrian and resurfacing projects that must be filed with the Washington State online TIP portal to be eligible for grants. "The TIP is a wish list that we as internally the city and public works... different projects that we have intended to to better our community," Holden said.
After a brief public hearing in which no members of the public spoke, Council member Lopez moved to adopt resolution '26-011, seconded by Council member Boyle, and the motion passed unanimously. Council and staff noted the TIP can be amended in future years to add or reprioritize projects; staff reminded the council that projects not listed on the TIP are generally ineligible for associated grant funding.
