HRC and staff announce East Bayfront Greenway ribbon cutting and PACA rehab ribbon cutting

Executive Director Aaron Snippert announced a ribbon cutting for the East Bayfront Greenway Trail Phase 1 Park, scheduled for Wednesday at 5 p.m. between the 400 block of East 6th and East 7th Street.
"So we're we're holding a ribbon cutting at the East Bayfront Greenway Trail Phase 1 Park on Wednesday at 5PM," Aaron Snippert said, noting the project stems from years of neighborhood design charrettes and will continue in future phases. Staff also reported ongoing housing rehabilitation grants for income‑qualified residents and invited commissioners to attend.
The commission chair also announced a PACA ribbon cutting on Thursday at 2:00 p.m.; the mayor and community leaders are expected to attend and staff said contractors have been hired to complete elevator and window work funded by local donors.
