HRC sends multiple historic‑property recommendations to city council, including William & Mary Spencer House

Staff reported that several historic nominations are advancing to city council, including a zoning‑map amendment for the William and Mary Spencer House.
"The William and Mary Spencer House, is, is going before council, for the ordinance to change the zoning map," Matthew Falcone said, adding that two other properties (William and Decker and Rathsatterhouse) have planning‑commission recommendations finalized and will be sent to council for first public hearings within about a month. Falcone also said the Erie Municipal Building discussion needs to return to the planning commission for further review after earlier consideration.
Commissioners were told these items are near the end of the local review process and staff expected council consideration shortly.
