Commissioner Cindy Thompson moved to approve an official proclamation submitted by the Elizabeth Carey Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution designating Sept. 17 through Sept. 23, 2025, as Constitution Week, marking the 238th anniversary of the drafting of the U.S. Constitution by the Constitutional Convention. Commissioner John Shorten seconded the motion.
All commissioners voted yes and Presiding Commissioner Joe Wilson signed the proclamation during the meeting. The action was recorded as approved by unanimous vote; the proclamation will be part of the county record.
