"Trustee Maier tendered her resignation. She spoke on her tenure here as Village Trustee of nearly 10 years. She is moving from the village and so must resign her position." Trustee Maier made the statement to the board before the motion to accept was taken (transcript). The motion to accept was made by Trustee Mickey Brown and seconded by Trustee Carol Stingel; votes in favor were Trustees Agrella, Brown, Pawlak, Stingel and Young; Maier abstained.
