Trustee Carol Stingel updated the board on plans for a park dedication event scheduled for Sunday, May 4, and asked for additional resident volunteers to support the event. She reported outreach to food vendors, plans to purchase 100 giveaway bags on a first-come, first-served basis, and the placement of volunteer plaques and a plaque from the old park.
Stingel asked the board to approve funding not to exceed $550 for bags and signs; the motion was made by Trustee Young, seconded by Trustee Brown, and passed unanimously. She indicated trustees may need to take a more active role if resident assistance is insufficient and asked Director Dzialo and Trustee Young to assist with vendor contacts.
