Board approves QuickBooks administrator transfer to GAPS; treasurer-title change discussed
Summary
Trustees approved transferring QuickBooks primary-administrator access for license 5240-8257-7901-317 from Melanie Gatza to Katherine Andrus of GAPS (the firm handling village accounting). Trustees approved transferring the QuickBooks primary administrator role for license 5240-8257-7901-317 from Melanie Gatza to Katherine Andrus of GAPS, the firm currently handling village accounting. The motion was revised on the floor to name Katherine Andrus as the new primary administrator; Trustee Stingel moved and Trustee Brown seconded the motion, and it passed unanimously.
Separately, Trustee Brown raised that Katherine Andrus (GAPS) should be reflected as Village Treasurer in official records but noted the process requires the currently listed person (T. Chesler) to resign and a formal ordinance to effect the change without additional pay. The board did not adopt that ordinance at the Nov. 13 meeting and directed staff to prepare the required paperwork.
