Holiday Hills treasurer to resign; board notes $45,000 payment and bank balances

Trustee Mickey Brown presented the monthly financial report Dec. 11 and asked the board to approve the warrant dated 12/11/2024. He told trustees the warrant included a $45,000 payment to Nunda Roads and that the funds had been moved from the General Fund to First Mid Bank. Trustees voted to approve the warrant; Ayes were recorded as Mickey Brown, Kamil Pawlak, Carol Stingel and Richard Young.
Brown read bank balances: First Mid Bank $94,988.29; IL General $118,317.59; MFT $65,071.83; Epay $29,640.15. He also noted Check 8183 for Wex should be recorded as an electronic funds transfer rather than a physical check. During committee reports Trustee Brown announced Treasurer Tami Chesler will resign in January and the board expects to appoint Katherine Andrus of GAPS at the January meeting; an ordinance clarifying the appointment, duties and pay will be presented and the record states GAPS currently performs accounting for a fee.
