The Village of Holiday Hills board voted Dec. 11 to purchase a Taser 10 package for the police department after receiving a $10,000 grant toward the $21,000 contract. Commander Copp presented the equipment package and the financing arrangement, telling trustees the remaining $11,013.60 would be paid over five annual installments.
Trustee Carol Stingel moved to approve the purchase and Trustee Richard Young seconded. The motion carried with Ayes recorded as Mickey Brown, Kamil Pawlak, Carol Stingel and Richard Young. The contract term was described as 60 months in the procurement packet distributed to trustees.
