During the nominations, the clerk put forward Patrick as chair and Dana Parker as vice chair; with no further nominations, the board accepted both by unanimous consent. ‘‘We will have, Patrick Picelli as our chair,’’ the clerk said during the nomination announcement. The board then moved to accept the election and approved the motion by roll call, 5-0.
Board members had added the election to the agenda at the start of the meeting. The chair asked the city clerk to conduct the election, and the board formalized the results with a roll-call vote. The board will proceed under the newly elected leadership until the next scheduled leadership action or election.
