A presenter told the board that the planned addition for the school will include a media center with a secure entrance like the high school and will free up space currently occupied by the dean's office and the library. "What will be in the new addition will be a media center, which is gonna be similar to this room. It will have the secure entrance like the high school has and, like, Henning has," the Presenter said.
The presenter explained that the dean's office and the library currently take up three classrooms needed for instruction once the district adds two grades to the building. The update was delivered as part of the facilities discussion; the board did not record a formal vote or timeline for construction in the meeting minutes.
