County Clerk gives February revenue and DMV update; DREAMS digitization near completion

Mortgage tax payments and distributions were itemized (examples: Treasurer paid $183,740.09 YTD; CENTRO and SONYMA amounts listed). Transaction counts included 493 land documents, 534 judgments/liens filed or satisfied, 27 notary filings, 123 Supreme Court index numbers issued, and 44 criminal court cases started (no fee transactions).
Lytle also described DMV operational activity tied to the statewide NYS DRIVES transition: the county DMV closed to the public at 1:00 p.m. on Feb. 13 to implement the DRIVES system, staff remained on site, and full public services resumed on Feb. 18 — during the subsequent eight-day window staff completed over 600 license transactions. Separately, the DREAMS records-digitization project is approximately 95% complete; project budget was noted at $4 million with actual expenditures of $3,152,298.97 (FY2022–26). Committee members received the report; no vote was required on these informational items.
