Holiday Hills police: 28 calls since July; new citation reporting and e-citation system planned

Commander Copp submitted the police report in the absence of Chief Caldwell and said McHenry County Sheriff's officers responded to three calls in the village since the July meeting and Holiday Hills officers handled 28 calls. The department conducted 21 traffic stops that resulted in 18 traffic citations.
Cmdr. Copp completed data input for a collection agency so outstanding fines can be collected, and the department is transitioning to a county-wide report-writing format that will support an electronic traffic citation system used by the McHenry County Circuit Clerk's office. The minutes also included a reminder to drivers to follow school rules and be courteous to buses and children with the start of the school year.
