• Eastland Crossing Phase 2 site work: The board approved a motion allowing preparatory site work (moving dirt) for the Eastland Crossing Phase 2 project while the city pursues an easement for roughly 400 feet to place a water main outside the state right-of-way. The approval was conditional: the city will negotiate and, if necessary, purchase an easement or pursue an appraisal and return to the board with an update in approximately 30 days. Any water-main construction remains contingent on IDEM and other required approvals.
Staff were directed to draft the encroachment agreement for the air-conditioner placement and to pursue easement negotiations and appraisal for Eastland Crossing; both items are scheduled for an update to the board in about 30 days.
