Board approves vacating portion of 5th Street in Sullivan Lakes subdivision

Seminole County staff presented a petition from adjacent property owners asking the county to vacate and abandon a 30-foot unimproved right-of-way known as 5th Street in the town of Sullivan Lake subdivision. Senior planner Annie Silway said utility companies provided letters of no objection, the request met the county's land-development code standards and Environmental Services requested a 15-foot easement split between the abutting owners. "Staff requests the Board of County Commissioners adopt the resolution vacating and abandoning a portion of unimproved right of way known as 5th Street in the town of Sullivan Lake subdivision," Silway told the board.
No public spoke on the item. Commissioner Hur moved to approve the vacate for his district; the motion passed unanimously.
