The engineer's written report covered multiple infrastructure projects. Phase I AMD pay-application comments have been addressed and may require a special meeting to approve a requisition depending on comment approval timing. Phase II AMD final design was submitted by Sept. 1, 2025; 28 of 34 rights-of-way are in hand and the project is awaiting environmental-assessment clearance from the Office of Surface Mining (OSM) before going out to bid, expected by year-end if clearances arrive.
The Chub Run project has a projected start date of Nov. 1, 2025; the engineer indicated a change order for a time extension will be presented next month. Phase IV forcemain work is awaiting environmental clearance from the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection (WVDEP) and all documentation has been provided. An engineering contract is being prepared for the Edison retaining wall project.
