The town's engineer submitted a written report and highlighted multiple infrastructure projects. For the Phase II AMD/AML project the engineer said 28 of 34 right-of-way easements have been secured and that the environmental assessment was submitted to the Office of Surface Mining on Oct. 23, 2025; the engineer indicated the project was aiming to go out for bid by the end of the year.
On the Chub Run sewer extension, the contractor was scheduled to begin around Nov. 1 but the engineer cautioned the start would likely be delayed until later in the year. The Phase IV sewer project remains contingent on approvals from the Public Service Commission (PSC) and the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for a connection to the Sandy's Hardware station.
