Nutter Fort's EMS Supervisor Nathan Rohrbough told the council the new ambulance is currently at Scotts for striping. Once it returns it will be stocked and then must be inspected by the state before it can enter service.
Rohrbough said he believes placing the new ambulance into service "will significantly cut down on repair costs we are seeing from the older models." The report was given as part of routine department updates; no formal vote or timeline for the inspection was recorded in the minutes.
