Treasurer Leslie Cummings said she attended training with the State Auditor’s Office on Nov. 4, 2025 and will work on required municipal policies to present in coming months; she also is coordinating with Public Works to help employees obtain CDL licensure. Fire Chief Jeremy Haddix reported the Ultimate Bash sold out and will be moved to May 9, 2026 to avoid scheduling conflicts with WVU football and other events; he also announced the Annual Santa Run on Dec. 7, 2025 beginning at 1:00 p.m.
EMS staff reported the newest ambulance is being striped and will return for stocking, equipment mounting and state inspection before entering service; the department expects rotating trucks to reduce maintenance costs. Public Works is installing Storz fittings on hydrants to minimize hose connection time, and Code Enforcement noted Ronnie will attend a Flatwoods seminar the first week of December at a cost of $200.
