The Development Review Board on July 28 approved a two-lot minor subdivision for property addressed as 1914 U.S. Route 5 North. Applicants David and Marie Carmichael told the board they plan to retain an approximately 1.5-acre parcel containing their residence and sell the approximately 8.9-acre parcel.
"They intend to retain the approximately 1.5-acre lot containing their residence and sell the approximately 8.9-acre parcel," the applicants stated during the hearing. The board reviewed proposed lot configuration, existing dwellings, frontage, access, survey materials, Roadside Business District dimensional standards, and the portion of the property within the Flood Hazard Overlay District. No public comment was recorded; the hearing was closed and the subdivision was approved unanimously.
