Commission approves multiple new position duty statements across county and partner agencies

At the March 10 meeting the commission approved a large set of new position duty statements spanning county departments and partner agencies. Items approved include Recreation Aide (10 positions) in Employment & Training; Junior Accountant (HELP Program) in Finance; Crisis Intervention Care Manager (2 positions) in Mental Health; Staff Social Worker (5 positions) in Mental Health; Senior GIS Analyst (HELP Program) in Planning; Account Clerk Typist and Payroll Systems Specialist (HELP Program) at Cayuga Community College; and positions for BOCES and Moravia Central School, among others.
Chairman Bruce D. Sherman moved and Commissioner Ryan M. Foley seconded to approve the new duty statements listed in agenda items A–L; the motion passed unanimously and staff were directed to notify the appointing authorities to proceed with classification and hiring steps as appropriate.
