County health official presents 2025–2031 Community Health Assessment

Meghan McCole, Senior Public Health Educator for the Cayuga County Health Department, presented the 2025–2031 Community Health Assessment (CHA) to the Health & Human Services Committee on March 11, 2026. The committee was told the CHA is posted on the county Health Department main website and is intended to guide department priorities for the next five years.
Kathleen Cuddy (Health) introduced the presentation and also provided a department staffing vacancy update. Committee members took no formal vote on the CHA itself during the meeting; the assessment was presented for review and planning purposes and will inform future program and budget decisions.
