President Giles described a Nunda IGA for Hyde Park that would remove fencing between Vaupell and the Village, extend driveways and reconfigure access to create one Hyde Park Avenue. He said the project is funded by Nunda Roads. Giles reported that Vaupell requested a meeting with him and asked that the project be paused and revisited with the Nunda Roads Commissioner after May 17, 2025.
Giles advised that any issues with work already underway should be directed to Nunda or the Police Department rather than engaging workers directly. The board did not vote on the IGA or take formal action, and the village will await the requested meeting and further communications from Nunda Roads and local stakeholders.
