Holiday Hills police report: calls, new hires, Lexipol service and software updates approved

Chief Copp, Chief of Police for Holiday Hills, reviewed department activity and staffing needs. "From 3/19 to date, there were 48 calls," Copp said, and he provided a breakdown of traffic stops, citations, warnings and parking tickets. The Board approved reinstating Lexipol policy/ training services not to exceed $2,300 and approved a one-time Realm of Tech charge for Microsoft Office updates on two police lines not to exceed $600.
Trustee Carol Stingel moved and Trustee Brian Agrella seconded to hire one additional part-time officer; the motion passed unanimously. Chief Copp also reported that Officer Svejcar submitted a resignation effective April 19, 2025, which the Board will vote to accept at the next meeting. The board discussed a potential recurring Realm of Tech monthly Microsoft Office fee not to exceed $100 per user annually but asked for further research before committing.
