At the Oct. 1 meeting the board heard that two projects— a roundabout at Routes 9 and 31 and planned improvements to Henniker Street—were removed from the DOT 10-year plan. Mike Tardiff said the Planning Commission is preparing submissions for the next 10-year plan and encouraged residents to attend the DOT GACIT hearing on Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 6:00 p.m. at the Fire Station to voice priorities.
Tardiff said public participation could help when the Planning Commission prepares requests to DOT for the next planning cycle. The board noted the removal of the projects and encouraged interested residents to attend the hearing to make their views known to GACIT and DOT staff.
