Sheriff Mike Osmond reported that his office has seen a "good number of school bus violations on hy 25" and that they are working to address the problem with help from speed‑grant funding and support from the Wisconsin State Patrol.
Osmond described a change to storm communications: "they just implemented a different system for storms through team’s chat to notify those who need to know rather than having to make a bunch of phone calls." He said the new approach is intended to speed notifications during weather events. The commission did not take formal additional action during the update.
