During the meeting the board paused regular business to recognize student achievements. Mr. Manser introduced Lydia Stice as the 8th‑grade student of the month and Maximilian (Max) Kesselring as senior student of the month, highlighting academic engagement, leadership and extracurricular involvement.
Board and staff members also noted agriculture program successes (FFA placements in Ag Ed contests), boys golf (10‑1 record), and junior high baseball tournament results. Upcoming events noted included the FFA "Feed the Farmer" on Oct. 10 and a labor auction on Oct. 15. Board members offered brief thanks and encouragement to the students and coaches highlighted in the report.
