Supervisor Hiller moved for adoption; Supervisor Stutz seconded the motion and the board voted unanimously to adopt the ordinance. The resolution directs county officials to take steps necessary to publish, codify and implement the ordinance; it becomes effective upon passage and publication as required by law.
The update came following committee review by the Forestry and Parks Committee and the Law Enforcement Committee, which recommended the changes to support public safety, trail maintenance and clearer enforcement guidance.
