The board subsequently set the new Accountant I at wage grade 9 and approved a $1.50 increase for the current deputy clerk when realigned, effective July 12, 2026. The action followed a closed‑session personnel review earlier in the meeting under Wis. Stat. § 19.85(1)(c).
