Council confirms Madison Mosher as interim utilities manager and names her MPPA representative

On April 28 the City Council confirmed Madison Mosher as Interim Utilities Manager effective May 5, 2025, approved her employment agreement and authorized mayoral signature. The council also passed a resolution naming Mosher as the City’s Member Authorized Representative under the Energy Services Agreement with the Michigan Public Power Agency (MPPA) and a separate resolution naming Mosher as the city’s MPPA board member with Greg Rausch as alternate. All votes were recorded as unanimous.
Separately, the council approved a MERS application and resolution authorizing additional service credit purchase for Taner Dalenberg. The MERS resolution was adopted as Resolution #2025-04/2230; MPPA-related resolutions were numbered #2025-04/2231 and #2025-04/2232 in the agenda materials.
