County signs motorized trail maintenance contracts with four local clubs

The Iron County Forestry & Parks Committee on June 10 approved motorized trail maintenance contracts for 2026–2027 with four local volunteer clubs: Mercer Sno-Goers, White Thunder Riders, Mercer Dusty Loons and Iron County ATV Association. The motion by J. Pinardi, supported by P. Hanson, passed unanimously.
County staff will execute the contracts as written. The contracts fund club-maintained trail work on motorized routes in the county for the upcoming maintenance season and reflect continuing partnerships between the county and local volunteer organizations.
