Staff said they will have crews clean up and stage traffic control equipment after striping and before the weekend events.
Councilmembers raised a localized standing‑water concern on a 3x3 area remaining after milling; staff recommended leaving that small area alone because patching now could look like a patch and age poorly. Public works also described plans for a seal‑coat maintenance fund to extend pavement life and noted annual allocations are already in place.
