Supervisor Perkins, speaking for the Audit Committee, reported the Audit Committee’s findings that Wyoming County’s Travel Guidelines should be updated. Board Clerk C. Ketchum said she had already discussed potential changes with Audit Chair Supervisor McCormick and indicated it would be appropriate for supervisors to request revisions.
Supervisor Kehl referred to a County Attorney email dated May 14, 2026 and reminded fellow supervisors, “That we are here to defend the county.” The minutes record the exchange as discussion and do not show a motion or vote to amend the travel guidelines at this meeting.
